I regret choosing the Middlemarch piece! It's more subtle than the Adam Bede one, but its tone is inexplicable. Everything I type something, I delete it 30 seconds later, because it sounds like it's going to be irrelevant. Maybe I should have done the Adam Bede piece instead. I feel like I'm sinking into the "slough of despond" to quote from Mammon Inc.
